A keychain of Tigranes II, more commonly known as Tigran the Great (Տիգրան Մեծ, Tigran Mets) (140 – 55 BC) was King of Armenia under whom the country became, the strongest state to Rome's east. The long reign of king Tigran reflected one of the most proud and successful periods of Armenia.
